I'm Henry Kobutra, a systems builder based in Houston, Texas. I work across business and technology. I'm interested in how the whole thing works: what needs to happen, who makes the decisions, and where software can remove unnecessary work.

I'm the co-founder and CTO of Redii, where we build software that helps companies offer and manage benefits for global teams. I'm also building Hydrant, an issue tracker for people who work with AI agents.

They're different problems, but both involve getting people and software to work together under real constraints.

Product delivery
and people leadership.

My earlier roles covered product strategy, customer research, team leadership, and delivery. As Director of Product at Mayan, I worked across seller dashboards and advertising automation, from discovery and UX/UI to the team's delivery practices.

As SVP and Head of Digital Business Innovation for Principal Financial Group's Thailand business, I led digital strategy and product delivery for retirement and investment apps. That included delivery methods, analytics, customer experience, and work across business, technology, and Compliance.

At TISCO Financial Group, a Thai banking and financial services group, I was VP of Digital Business Strategy. My work spanned mobile banking, lending and retirement apps, corporate websites, and social channels, including executive alignment, vendor selection, and technical decisions.

Principal and TISCO hired me in part for my people leadership. Earlier, I led product marketing at Taskworld, built a multidisciplinary marketing team at aCommerce, led search-marketing analysts at Agoda, and managed software delivery at RarePlay and T3NET.

Education & certifications

I hold an MBA and a BS in Information Technology from Western Governors University, and an associate's in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Houston City College.

My active certifications include CPTS, PNPT, CEH, and PMP.

I work with AI agents every day. That means thinking about what to delegate, what an agent is allowed to change, and how to check the result.
