I'm Henry Kobutra, a systems builder based in Houston, Texas. I work across business and technology. I'm interested in how the whole thing works: what needs to happen, who makes the decisions, and where software can remove unnecessary work.

I'm the co-founder and CTO of Redii, where we build software that helps companies offer and manage benefits for global teams. I'm also building Hydrant, an issue tracker for people who work with AI agents.

They're different problems, but both involve getting people and software to work together under real constraints.

Before Redii, I was Director of Product at Mayan, SVP and Head of Digital Business Innovation at Principal's Thailand business, and VP of Digital Business Strategy at TISCO.

I've worked on the business side of technology as well as the implementation. I want to understand what a system needs to do, then stay close enough to the work to know whether it does it.

Education

I hold an MBA in IT Management and a BS in Information Technology from Western Governors University.
